hello soy yo de nuevo, no he tenido respuesta, pero ay….voy de nuevo…. Soy de Venezuela, y quiesiera saber si puedo entrar en el negocio de SOS FACTORY, de dibujantes de comics, o mascotas, de hecho mi trabajo es todo completamente en Corel Draw, Pero Igual me interesa el Software de Photoshop, si entro en esa comunidad de SOS FACTORY, Como seria mi pago o mas bien, como llegaria mi pago a mis manos…..disculpen la insistensia…pero me interesa mucho…..Gracias….de Antemano.

Sigue las instrucciones del post, y espera una respuesta. Si la respuesta no llega posiblemente es porque no tienes el perfil que andan buscando, pero nunca se sabe en el futuro lo que puede pasar.

Hola solo una pregunta, solo lineas no color te refieres al dibujo en blanco y negro por asi decirlo?, solo por el trazado pagan de 80 a 100 dolares?

Hola Sergio disculpa que te vuelva a molestar pero quiero aclarar dudas antes de hacerte perder el tiempo,
, es que mis dibujos son buenos pero a la hora de digitalizarlos me cuesta mucho usando la herramienta que nos enseñaste en el tutorial de la caricatura del bulldog, pero e visto en otras paginas y en videos de youtube que otras persona digitalizan con la tableta digital, a puro pulso ( eso si no me cuesta tanto) si las mascotas q te envian vienen con ese tipo de digitalizacion no t interesan o si sirven?

Hola Adriana, el resultado es lo importante, da igual como lo consigas.
Pero ojo, a pulso es mucho más difícil que con herramientas de vectorizado, las lineas quedan bastante quebradas.

Hola Static, creo que no sería buena idea, ten en cuenta que necesito muchos diseños cada mes… si para cada encargo tengo que hacer eso, no terminaría nunca.
Necesito un dibujante muy bueno y muy profesional.

Sergio, your work is very professional and I think you should charge more, visit this website, have lot of info about freelancing and books to see what you can charge, I consider you work internationally and must charge more.

Hello Mara,
The first lesson I learnt “your work worth the price which you can sell it for”… I know my work is good, but I need who can pay it… anyway I earn 400% the salary of a graphic designer in my city, so I consider myself very well paid.
3 years ago i was charging 15US$ per logo, my current price is around 300-500US$… what I mean is I think in the long term, I will raise the prices again when I have a strong clientele in this price range… and so on.
Every time somebody tell me this (too frecuent than I would like) I say the same… redirect those clients to me… its obvious everybody want to charge more… I really think that books are useless, anybody but you can set a price.

Una preguntita Sergio, en el post sobre el encargo de lñas mascotas para el juego de mafia vi que al que le pediste los dibujos te lo envio en blanco y negro, asi tambien te sirven, es que a mi me cuesta un poco el entintado, me kedan las lineas muy iregulares, es posible enviartelos a lapiz?

- Soy serio con mi trabajo y muy abierto a mejorar y por tanto a la crítica (lo de agradable creo que también).

It’s weird being at that place where you need to hire people to do the work because there are just too many orders – but hiring people comes with a whole lot of other risks and financial issues. So, to ensure that you can afford the people, you need to have enough business coming in but you can’t get that business in until you hire more people so you can actually do what’s needed for the business. It’s a weird place to be in and a very important point of growth for any business.

Yes it is, but Im not hiring anybody its freelance work.
Anyway is really hard finding good and reliable artists, much more locally… so Im increasing the prices instead the quantity of work done.
