It is well known, that with Windows Xp it is not possible to preview the files PSD. This is bothering because the icon does not allow you to distinguish between one file and the others.
Long time ago, I posted some registry files (the famous Psicon.dll) modificated to preview the Photoshop and Illustrator files. With the Photoshop it seemed that it works; but with the Illustrator it did not go with all Windows and Illustrator versions, I could not find out the problem.
With Supericon V3 you can preview the thumbnails of your PSD, Al, EPS and also TIF files. It is a small self installing utility, which works great.
CAUTION: this utility modifies the registry of your operative system. In my case everything works correctly, but I do not assume the responsibility of any problems. My antivirus did not find any spy programms or virus. Use it under your own responsibility.
COMPATIBILITY: it is checked up for Windows XP, I do not know if it works with Windows Vista. I have not switching yet…. If someone can comment his own experiences it would be very helpful.

En windows vista el .psd lo previsualiza perfectamente, el .ai no lo previsualiza pero no tengo instalado el illustratos.

los *.dll me funcionaban por momentos, luego los *.AI y *.EPS dejaban de previsualizarse, con este ya se ven siempre *-*

Bastante util esta aplicacion pues si bien de la manera que lo habias explicado en ocasiones anteriores tambien funciona, es mucho mas rapida con este metodo.

para todos los usuarios de iilustrator, es posible que cada vez que abren el illustrator dejen de verse las miniaturas y es que el problema es que Illustrator borra la clave cada vez que se inicia el registro. Así que necesitas hacer un hackeo del registro:
1. Ve a Inicio > Ejecutar > regedit
2. Localiza y haz clic con el menú derecho en:HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0C5B0CED-206B-4c39-B615-0EB23C824612}\InProcServer32
3. Haz clic en permisos.
4. Selecciona un usuario en el cuadro de diálogo y pulsa en Opciones Avanzadas.
5. Haz clic en “Modificar” en el nuevo cuadro de diálogo.
6. En “Eliminar” haz clic en la casilla de verificación de la columna “Denegar”
7. Aceptar.
espero que eso solucione el problema que tienen.

En mi caso no lo pude utilizar pues un software que uso que se llama Superantispyware le detecta un Troyano al “EXE”, habrá posibilidad de bajarlo en otro link que este limpio el instalador?

Buenas Vianey, intenta contactar con el creador de ese ejecutable.
Yo tengo Karspersky actualizado, y Spybot y ninguno me detectó software maligno.
Recuerda, en cualquier caso, no me hago responsable de los posibles daños que pudiera ocasionar.

Hola, soy Brasileño e instale este programita en mi Windows XP (Pt-Br) y me funciona casi 100% – algunos EPS no me los muestra. Tengo illustrator CS3 y me funciona bien con todos los Ai.
No sé el porqué nenguno Adobe contiene algo así, cómo el CorelDraw.
Muchas Gracias me es muy util.
P.S.: Norton 360 no le detectó software maligno

Excellent – the illustrator patch individual still works CS3 but for the psd files CS3 you do need that program v3

I think the problem have nothing to do with the Photoshop version, the issue is with the version of your Windows OS. Im not sure what is the problem though, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt

i think ACD see support the same feather but you can see the (psd – AI )file the same way you see the jpg files

Hello Ims, yes Acd see does but would be great windows display thumbnails of ai, psd, tiff… so you dont need to open other software.

En Win Vista solo funciona con las miniaturas de photoshop, siguen sin verse las de illustrator, si alguien tiene la solución estar muy agradecida

Hola que tal SERGIO O. mira a mi al instalarlo me dice que ya existe el visualizador de imagenes en miniatura, pero no se ve nada mas que el logo de photoshop en ves de la vista previa de la imagen.
