How to use the vector tools of Photoshop

En este video vamos a aprender a hacer un dibujo digital de forma profesional partiendo de un boceto a lápiz, como hacemos en SOSFactory. Si eres usuario poco experimentado con Photoshop te aconsejo que primero practiques con el tutorial básico de dibujo digital con Photoshop. En este nuevo videotutorial la principal novedad consiste en que aprenderemos a modular las líneas dándole diferentes pesos, con lo que conseguimos un resultado mucho más impactante y dinámico.

La clave consiste en manejar los diferentes grosores de linea de forma adecuada, me temo que aquí no hay reglas, tienes que dejarte llevar por la intuición. Vamos a echar un vistazo a estos dos ejemplos:

Diferentes pesos de lineas

Ejemplo A: Tenemos una línea delgada, sin diferencia de pesos, además fíjate que la línea está coloreada. El resultado es mucho más suave, ya que el relleno de color toma más importancia. Es recomendable cuando tengas que usar el personaje a escalas muy pequeñas. Aquí puedes ver el tutorial básico de dibujo digital con Photoshop.

Ejemplo B: La línea es gruesa, hay variaciones de grosor y la hemos dejado negra. Resulta más impactante. El problema al usar a escalas pequeñas es que la linea "ahoga" el volumen, cuanto más peso de línea menos relleno de color, con lo que difícilmente puedes conseguir un buen volumen. Hay una tercera opción que consiste en dibujar y entintar tu dibujo de forma tradicional en papel, y después llevarlo a Photoshop para limpiarlo y extraer las lineas. Aquí puedes ver el videotutorial sobre entintado digital con Photoshop.

Existe una última opción que no recomiendo a no ser que seas un usuario avanzado de Photoshop, que consiste en dibujar las lineas directamente con tu tabla digitalizadora.

    muy buen videotutorial.. que curro te pegas!! yo tb lo hacia en PS, pero al final me pasé al FreeHand para vectorizar la linea y ahora siempre vectorizo el dibujo.. (un ejemplillo: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60613308/ , aunque en este caso incluso el color es en FH)

    Hola Erik, Photoshop es un poco complicado pero el idioma es lo de menos. Yo intentarí­a aprenderlo en inglés ya que hay más material del que aprender (libros, tutoriales…)

    Sobre lo de la edad, pues los tutoriales son para principiantes independientemente de la edad.

    En principio lo que necesito es cartoon como lo que ves en SOSFactory. Si además puedes hacer otros estilos genial… pero ten en cuenta que el portafolio está muy muy orientado al estilo cartoon, es lo que pedirán los clientes.

    Sergio i need one advice.

    Im making one mascot for the new company of my work and i decided to design it and paint in photoshop.

    So When i make the lineart i use “make selection” and fill it with a black color.

    And in your tutorials you use the fill stroke with pencils.

    What is the best choose? make selections or use pencils?

    Se llama Camtasia: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp y te exporta las pelí­culas directamente a Flash entre otros formatos.

    Tiene algunos fallos pero en general va bien y es muy sencillo.

    Descargué Camtasia hace unos dí­as y no sé si alguna vez tuviste este problema: al iniciar en modo de grabación de la pantalla el cursor como q se ralentiza y no puedo trabajar, ¿será la memoria de la pc? leí­ la ayuda pero no me resuelve eso. cheers.

    Necesitas bastante memoria RAM para que el cursor responda bien. Puedes mejorar el rendimiento deshabilitando una de las opciones (no recuerdo bien) pero el resultado es mucho peor, en el video no sale ninguna paleta del Photoshop.

    Hola Sergio, me preguntaba si existe algo en el que yo dibuje en un papel algo, lo escanee y con algun programa le aplique una opcion como de comic o algo asi para que termine pareciendo un dibujo digital. Algo rapido y facil. sabes?
