Sports Mascots by Type
Sports mascot designs for teams, schools, universities and sports events, all commissioned by clients from small schools to a national football federation. Use them as ideas for your own team.
Mascots for Sports Events
A sports mascot is a specific niche of team branding: it has to communicate dynamism, energy and a healthy lifestyle. That is why mascot illustrations are used so often.
A mascot for events is the perfect brand activator to connect with the audience.
Running Event Mascot

Schullauf is a running event for kids, once sponsored by Nestlé and now by Lidl. They hired me for a friendly mascot.

University Sports Mascots
I’m proud of creating mascots for USA universities like San Diego, Grand Canyon and Georgia State.
UC San Diego
USA
The brief: a good-looking mascot in only 3 colors, so it would print cheaply on T-shirts, stationery and billboards.
Grand Canyon University
USA
Their creative team wanted a friendly, fun and athletic character to bring events to life: the cartoon version of Thunder.
Georgia State University
USA
A vector mascot with an edgy, aggressive attitude: Pounce got plenty of personality while keeping the design clean.

A lion gladiator for Cancún Calcio, a football school linked to Cumbres Cancún. Both mascots share the pitch.
Greenwood College Mascot
