I’ve been making unique mascot poses for more than 20 years, so I know how difficult is creating the “Illusion of Life”. It is produced by a mascot’s movements, self-expression, and interactions, not just by its appearance. Posing well a mascot character is the way to truly connect with the audience and showcase their individuality. That’s what separates amateur work from expert touch.
Custom mascot poses are fully original stances created from scratch to capture specific actions or emotions. On one hand, each pose is more expressive and unique; on the other, they are more expensive to produce because they require custom work.

I included sport-specific gear, like a helmet for skateboarding and goggles for swimming, to make each illustration feel authentic.
Jameel is the official mascot for the ALJ League in Saudi Arabia, sponsored by Toyota and ALJ. Designing him wasn’t easy. Football is fast-paced and full of energy, so I needed to make sure every action pose captured that intensity while keeping him fun.
The biggest challenge was creating a character that resonated with Saudi culture and appealed to everyone, whether it’s kids, adults, men, or women.
Designing Pepe the Bird for CooMeet was a fun but tricky challenge. Because Pepe is a simple, minimalist character, every detail had to work hard to show his personality. And since he’s a bird, getting his poses and “hand” gestures to feel expressive was especially tough. I had to find ways to make his wings look natural while still conveying human-like emotions.
Each pose was carefully designed to work as chat stickers, portraying emoji-like expressions full of personality. This helped Pepe connect with users while bringing CooMeet’s branding to life in a engaging way.

Kustermans is an Adventure Farm with over 40 attractions and seasonal festivals, which means they need their mascot, Bloober, to adapt to all kinds of situations. A budget-friendly solution is designing a mascot avatar with customizable parts: different facial expressions, outfits, and arm poses that can be mixed to communicate any message.
Bloober avatar mascot can hold seasonal props like pumpkins or strawberries to match the festival, point visitors in the right direction on the way to the attractions, wave hello, or give a thumbs up. His face expression is customisable with winks, smiles, and fun gestures. He can also dress up for different events.
