Featured Logo Design Projects
Charleston Ice
Charleston Ice is Charleston’s largest manufacturer and retailer of Italian ice. I created a brand new logo and mascot to replace the old fashioned logo, the challenge on this project was providing a simple design that looks good in all kind of surfaces.
Sand Slides Deluxe
Paul is a small Iphone developer that contacted me to rebrand his most appreciated jewel, Sand Slides: an addictive game with a very cool concept but poor graphic development. This was kind of a side project, no rush on their behalf and no budget limitations on mine either, it was a pleasure!
Deadman's Rum
Spirits of the USA is the first full-line producer of ultra premium liquors in the industry. My job was to design illustrative logotypes and labeling for the whole range of liquors. An original, fresh and funny approach in a traditionally conservative industry.
Glasstop Games
Logo and character design for an application targeted for traditional tabletop gamers. I created a medieval and epic logo that includes a mascot but could perfectly work by itself, I also created simpler versions in 1, 2 and 3 colors for affordable printing.
Den Magiske Hjelm
Jan Kjaer is a Danish comic artist I admire because of his narrative skills. I had the pleasure of working with him as a colorist in Taynikma, his previous adventures title. So, when he asked for my help to design the logotype for his new comic, I couldn't refuse.
Chess Lord
Logo design for Iphone game. I watched a few medieval movies before I got the inspiration to create this slick, epic looking logo. I also designed a more complex version that include a character, the chessboard and pieces. I love working on projects that push me out of my comfort zone.
The Mafia Underground
Logo designed for another web based game with Mafia theme. This logo is a few years old, it was a quite straight forward order but I really like it how it turned out. It's kind of dirty and dinamic, I think it match perfectly the theme of the game.
Flat Rabbit Racing
FRR Rally Team contacted me to design their new brand identity. The design had illustrative purposes since it was going to be used on big formats: vinyls for the front and side of the car and Tshirts; so there was no restrictions to design, I love when this happens!.
Alice Greenfingers 2
Arcade Lab was founded in 2003 to create games with tradition and quality, and they quickly became a hot name in the business. Their games have been downloaded and played by tens of millions of people all over the world. Mostly because of the success of Alice Greenfingers.
The Cat Osterman Experience
Olympic Gold Medalist, Catherine Leigh ?Cat? Osterman, opened The Cat Osterman Experience on the summer of 2010: it's a multi-million dollar facility located on a 40 acres field in Bellevue, Nebraska. Their goal is to provide an exciting opportunity for female softball teams across the country.
Dress Up Who
Design of an illustrative logotype for Dress Up Who, one of the first sites ever to offer a huge selection of dress up games. They are now one of the leaders in their niche. This is an old order but I like how good this logo still look.
Sisi Games
Part of the new corporative image of Sisi Games, a web page dedicated to Flash games aimed at girls. The order consisted of designing an illustrative logotype (mascot + logo), plus a simplified version of it, an a full rendered character design.
Evomon
James is a web developer who has a dream: creating his own MMORPG. His game has been under development since I met him some years ago but I've got something clear in my mind, he will publish it and it will be a hit. This passion is familiar to me and it's unstoppable.
Rashed's Family
Logo design for 3d animated show that promote ecologic values in kids. By choosing the right typography - and further customization - we got a clean and readable logo that transmits the target message. As good designers say: less is more!.
Wicked Wabbit
This isotype was quite challenging because the client wanted a very different approach than my usual detailed style, and I have to admit that I love it. It was designed for Wicked Wabbit: magazine for gamers still under development.
Temper Tantrum
I'm not a fan of violent sports such as MMA, even though I have to admit it's an industry I like to work for. In this case I designed an illustrative logotype to be printed on T-Shirts, plus a simpler version for more restrictive applications.
Rescreatu
I love to redesign MMORPG sites with some years on their backs. Rescreatu had a vast and stable users base, plenty of good quality content and a pretty nice design. But they also had a big problem: Their site was difficult to navigate.
Drunken Monkey Collectibles
After some years of freelance work this is still one of my preffered projects. The project was noticed by Smashing Magazine, that hired my to write a tutorial about character and logo design. It became an instant classic that brought quite a lot of exposure to my client.
Frangola
Frangola is a start up company located in Angola, which sells fried chicken. The client wanted an illustrative approach that causes graphic impact when printing in very big sizes, but flexible enough to be readable in small sizes. For further information read this case studio.
Physical Innovations
Physical InnovationsI created a whole identity brand pack for this Gym, which included mascot, logo design, mascot + logo integration and different versions - from monochrome to the full color version you can see here - for practically any application you can give them in real world.
Rattle Snake
Spirits of the USA is the first full-line producer of ultra premium liquors in the industry. My job was to design illustrative logotypes and labeling for the whole range of liquors. An original, fresh and funny approach in a traditionally conservative industry.
MWIR
MWIRLogotype design for this forum specializing in motor news. A simpler approach that guarantees flexibility when it comes to reproducing the logotype in different formats. I provided a full rendered version (the one in the image) and another simplified for easy printing.
John Cow
ConfidentialJohn Cow was born as a parody of the online marketing guru John Chow, a breath of fresh air in a very homogeneous niche. Due to this original approach, it became very popular in a short period of time, which brougth very good sells. Unfortunately, the new owner choosed a less funny editorial line.
